Member status begins after eligibility declaration, acceptance of the Membership Terms and payment. Public listing is optional and does not affect the underlying status.

• Display name and Member status.
• Membership year and field where authorised.
• No UKAAS post-nominal is attached to Member status.

The Directory distinguishes Active Annual Fellows and Life Fellows admitted through the published direct-application standard.

• Verified name, Fellow status and admission year.
• Approved field, biography, image and professional links.
• Confirmation that FAAS(UK) may be used while status remains active.

An Honorary Fellow appears only after accepting the distinction and approving publication. The citation records the basis of the recognition.

Verification confirms the precise UKAAS status shown in the current record. It does not certify every external claim, professional service, product or opinion associated with the person.

• Search by verified display name or record reference.
• Check the status, year and last-verified date.
• Report suspected false status, altered certificates or inaccurate public information.

Member listing is private by default. Extended biographies, images and links require separate authority. Restricted Fellow listing may be approved for safety, legal or compelling privacy reasons.

• A listed person may request correction of inaccurate information.
• Optional profile material may be withdrawn without rewriting lawful decision and audit records.
• Marketing consent is separate from directory publication and service communications.

• Member — an active contractual programme member; public listing is opt-in.
• Fellow — an active annual or Life Fellow who met the published threshold.
• Honorary Fellow — a free, invitation-only or authorised-nomination distinction.
• Former, lapsed, suspended or removed status is not displayed as current.
