Directory status
The inaugural Fellowship is in formation
UKAAS is identifying people whose sustained achievement and contribution meet the published Fellowship standard, alongside a small number of candidates for Honorary Fellowship. No name will appear here before assessment, approval, acceptance and publication authority are complete.
Formation of the Fellowship
Candidates may enter the ordinary Fellowship process by direct application, nomination or Academy identification. All three routes are assessed against the same evidence standard. Membership, payment, donation, sponsorship and personal connections are excluded from the decision.
Honorary Fellowship is distinct. It is not open to self-application and proceeds only through confidential consideration, due diligence, internal approval and the recipient's acceptance.
Published standards
- Sustained achievement in a field represented by the Academy.
- A meaningful contribution beyond the ordinary expectations of the role.
- Evidence capable of independent verification and assessment in context.
- Good standing and acceptance of the Code of Conduct.
- A recorded decision with conflicts identified and managed.
Candidate nominations
A nomination brings a candidate to the Academy's attention; it does not confer status or guarantee assessment or appointment. Nominators must provide a lawful, accurate and evidence-based statement. Ordinary Fellowship nominees may be invited to complete the standard application. An external Honorary recommendation remains a suggestion for confidential internal review and is not a formal appointment process.
Nominate a candidateVerification and corrections
Only a current published record verifies Fellowship. A certificate image, invitation, nomination or application reference is not evidence of current standing. Verified inaccuracies and safety-related publication concerns may be sent to contact@ukaas.org.
